Input undervoltage protection

Scope of application

CV voltage regulation, CC current regulation

Voltage regulation:

Use a flat-blade screwdriver to adjust the output terminal "CV-ADJ" potentiometer (marked in the figure below) when the power supply is switched on and there is no load. The response will be slower when the high voltage is adjusted to the low voltage. The adjustment range of the instrument is smaller. (The default output voltage is adjusted to about 24V for shipment. If we need to adjust other voltage values, please explain or leave a message)

Current regulation:

Adjust the "CC A-ADJ" potentiometer counterclockwise for about 30 turns, set the output current to that, connect the LED battery and other loads, and adjust the "CC A-ADJ" potentiometer clockwise to the current you need. For battery charging, after the battery is discharged, connect to the output and adjust CC A-ADJ to the current you need. When charging, you must use the discharged battery to adjust, because the battery is left The more power, the lower the charging current. The default output ESC is 10A for shipment. If we need to adjust the current value adjustment instructions or leave a message. Do not use the short-circuit output method to adjust the current. The circuit structure of the boost module cannot be adjusted by the short-circuit method.

New: Input low battery protection

Low battery protection is mainly aimed at preventing battery over-discharge when the input power is a battery, and the battery voltage is too low to damage the power supply module and battery. When the input is a switching power supply, low-voltage protection should also be set. The undervoltage protection is fixed at 9.7V.

Matters needing attention

(1) The output positive and negative poles cannot be reversed or short-circuited.

(2) Pay attention to ventilation and heat dissipation when working with large current and high power for a long time with full load to extend the service life of the power supply.

(3) The module can only step up but not step down, and cannot supply power to electrical equipment lower than the input voltage, such as charging a 12V battery with a 24V battery or charging a capacitor. Supply power to the lED lower than the input voltage

(4) Do not work at full load for a long time, please leave a 20% margin when working continuously, pay attention to ventilation and heat dissipation

Answer: The working efficiency of this module is very high, our actual test rate can reach 98.1%.

3. Does this power module have short-circuit protection? Will it burn out if the output is short-circuited accidentally when I use it?

Answer: Our module does not have short-circuit protection. When your output is short-circuited, the module will be burnt out. You need to pay special attention when using it. Do not short-circuit.

4. Does this power module have input reverse connection protection? Will it burn out if I accidentally connect the input power to the wrong side when I use it?

Answer: It will burn out, our module does not have reverse connection protection.

5. The working voltage of the module is 10-50V, so can I input 12V and output 48V?

Answer: Yes. This module is a boost module.

6. Can the current of this module run for a long time at 24V 10A?

Answer: The design power of this module is 600W, and it can run for a long time at 600W power (a fan is required for forced cooling), 48V*10A=480W, so it can run for a long time.

7. I need a current of about 20A, can this module work in parallel?

Answer: When the input power is supplied separately, the output can be directly connected in parallel, and the power is doubled. When the inputs are all connected to the same power supply, this is not possible.

8. What is the working environment temperature of this module, can it reach industrial grade?

Answer: Yes, but when the ambient temperature exceeds 40 degrees, please reduce the power usage or strengthen the heat dissipation.

9. I think your module has a potentiometer. Will the output voltage suddenly increase due to damage to the potentiometer?

Answer: No, the multi-turn precision potentiometer is used on the module. Its adjustment accuracy and reliability are very high. There will be no sudden increase in output voltage. You can use it with confidence. It is still recommended that bulk customers find us to customize the fixed output voltage.

10. I think your module has a power of 600W. If I output a voltage of 48V, what should the current be?

Answer: This can be calculated. With the formula P=U*I, I=P/U, the output voltage is 48V and the current is 12.5A. Since the output current of the module is about 20A, the output current is 20A.

11. The working voltage of the module is 10-50V, so can I input 12V and output 50V 600W?

Answer: No. Input 12V can output 50V, but if you want to output 600W power, the input voltage must be above 24V.
