FT232R Introduction:

With the development of computer technology, the parallel port and serial port have gradually disappeared on the PC, and now even the desktop computer has few parallel ports. But for engineers, both the parallel port and the serial port are essential interfaces, especially the serial port. For a computer without a serial port, a convenient solution is to use a USB to serial port chip to virtualize a serial port. Many manufacturers have produced such a chip. From the perspective of stability, the FT232 series is more reliable and can be used for peace of mind. Debug programs without worrying about blue screen situations.

The FT232R chip is a single-chip solution. Generally, no peripherals are required. Even the crystal oscillator, USB matching resistor, and EEPROM for placing product information have been integrated inside. FT232R also has some more useful functions. This product uses a new design, using the good FT232RL chip of USB2.0, which converts the USB into a serial port. There are two power supply versions. Each module is tested with 10W bytes of self-transmission and self-reception before leaving the factory! !

Hardware Introduction:

·Adopt FT232RL chip of FTDI company;

·Export all signal ports of FT232RL chip, TTL/CMOS level;

RXD/TXD transceiver communication indicator;

USB powered, optional 5V or 3.3V interface level (if other levels are required, the target voltage can be provided directly on the VCC and GND pins).
