Product Description:

A branch of the 74HC595 shift register IC SOIC version. Clock input data and lock it to release the IO pin on the micro. All pins on the IC are separated by standard 0.1 inch spacers. The serial input and output pins are located on opposite sides of the circuit board, and the remaining pins are carried so that multiple shift register boards can be linked together. This is a CMOS shift register with open-drain output. The output port is a controllable three-state output terminal, and it can also be serially output to control the next-level cascaded chip.
