Although the for DE10 Nano has built-in DDR3 RAM, it has high latency and is not suitable for the timing required by retro for EDO DRAM. So if the core needs precise memory timing, onboard DDR3 cannot be used. You can confidently know that each 128MB SDRAM Ultra Thin (XS-D) v2.9 board has been tested with the Mister MemTest utility at 130 MHz for over an hour (126MHz is the fastest speed required for current cores). Additionally, each memory module will be soak tested using for Jotego's 48MHz and 96MHz SDRAM test cores. Finally, field tests were performed on for Neo Geo core, for Acorn Archimedes core, for Game Boy Advance core, for Sega MEGA CD core and for Neo Geo games, including for Metal Slug 3 and for Bad Apple's Neo Geo demo, these extensive tests ensure there are no issues.
