Description
       The infrared decoding and encoding module adopts MCU+infrared emitting head+infrared receiving head, which leads out the serial port of MCU to connect other devices that need infrared control, and can be used as infrared wireless data communication and data transmission. It has NEC format infrared code transmission function, which can control 99% NEC infrared format equipment, such as most TV sets, set-top boxes, DVDs, electric fans and other electrical equipment. It only needs to use the serial communication knowledge of the single chip microcomputer to send the specified command through the serial port to transmit the control module; the infrared decoding operation is performed through the serial port receiving mode to obtain the remote control coding information. You can also use the store's USB to TTL combined with the computer to control other devices. After connecting the circuit, the computer host computer software can simply send and receive commands to realize the codec function. Two modules can complete the transceiving operation.

The indicator light will flash during transmission and reception, otherwise it will be on.
The NEC infrared signal coding consists of a 16-bit user code (divided into 8 high and low 8 bits), 1 command code and 1 command code. That is, "user code 1 + user code 2+ command code + command code inverse code"
Decoding: No need to send any instructions during decoding, just pick up the receiver of the remote control alignment module, and the serial port of the module outputs the infrared code. The result of the decoding is viewed through the serial port debugging assistant, and the result is output as "user code 1 + user code 2+ command code". You only need to send these three digits when doing code transmission.
The USB to TTL serial board is connected to the infrared transmitting and receiving module, and the computer serial port assistant is turned on for debugging.

Reset:
Operation error If the address is abnormal or the baud rate is abnormal, we can restore the factory settings by the following methods. (The default parameters are: serial port address A1 (and FA), baud rate 9600bps)
1) Connect the 5V power supply and unplug the GND cable.
2) Connect the pin at the red arrow in the figure below to the negative (GND) of the power supply and wait for 2s to release.
3) The operation is completed
