1. Description:

The TDC-GP22 is an upgraded version of the next-generation TDC-GP21. It is a 100% pin-and-function compatible upgrade of the TDC-GP21 with extended functionality. In particular, the new first wave detection capability makes the TDC-GP22® ideal for ultrasonic water meters with high dynamics. The programmable offset range of the comparator is increased to ±35 μmV, and the offset is automatically reset to zero after the first detection of the wave. Measuring the relative pulse width of the first wave, the user can see the strength of the received signal. This can be used for long-term signal attenuation or bubble detection in the system. Compared to the TDC-?GP21, multi-hit data processing and data reading are simplified.

In summary, the TDC-GP22 is a further improvement and simplification of the design of the ultrasonic water meter, and is a necessary step for the design of the compact ultrasonic water meter.
